Carta de Raúl Roa Kourí al Presidente Barack Obama exigiendo la liberación de Ramón Labañino, Gerardo Hernández y Antonio Guerrero

Dear Mr. President:
As millions of other Cuban citizens, in Cuba and abroad, I am deeply concerned that after 15 years three Cuban anti-terrorist fighters are still in prison in U.S. penitentiaries, after trials which were evidently a travesty of justice, as many lawyers around the world, including former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark, have noted.
I was personally a victim of a terrorist attack by a group of well-known CIA-trained Cuban terrorists, who placed a bomb in my car when I  was Ambassador-Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, in 1981. Among them was  Mr. Remon, a convicted terrorist friend of Luis Posada Carriles, the notorious planner of the downing of a Cuban passenger airliner  over Barbados, in 1976. Both Remon and Posada Carriles boast publicly of their crimes while living free in your country, whereas our three fellow.citizens serve unjust prison terms precisely for attempting to thwart such terrorist attacks against Cuba and   U.S. citizens as well.
I hope that the demand of so many concerned citizens  the world over, including the United States, will help convince you that it is dire time to right this wrong and set the three Cuban anti-terrorist fighters free.
You have the power, Mr. President, I sincerely hope you also have the will.
   Yours truly,

Raúl Roa-Kourí
